Tractor has Launched the Years of Living Dangerously Website

It’s been quite the year so far and we’re excited to finally share what we have brewing over here at Tractor.

Today we launched the Years of Living Dangerously website. Years of Living Dangerously is a new multi-part documentary series about climate change premiering this spring on SHOWTIME®  from Executive Producers James Cameron, Jerry Weintraub and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Years tells the story of the human impact of climate change through correspondents such as Matt Damon and Harrison Ford.

Our Role on the Project

Tractor was hired as the agency for the digital strategy, website design and build and our teams in San Francisco, New York, and Toronto have been working hard on everything including: digital strategy, web design, content strategy, web development, and social media. Our work involved a soup-to-nuts implementation which consisted of determining how to tell the “story behind the story” through a digital medium. We’re excited to be a part of a project that not only brings light to the personal stories of those affected by climate change worldwide, but to encourage everyone to learn more about ways to take action and be part of the solution.

In addition, it’s been an honor to be a part of a series that combines Hollywood’s top movie makers as well as exceptional reporting expertise from Joel Bach and David Gelber of 60 Minutes. Years of Living Dangerously brings together an impressive list of Hollywood stars such as Harrison Ford, Matt Damon and Olivia Munn, respected journalists like New York Times’ Thomas L. Friedman, and top scientists Heidi Cullen and Joe Romm to explore climate change and bring stories of ‘heartbreak, hope and heroism’.

Check out the newly designed website, mark your calendars for a special free preview of the first episode on April 7th on http://yearsoflivingdangerously.com/ and tune in for the series premiere on April 13th at 10pm ET/PT on SHOWTIME®.

Let us know what you think – we look forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback on our work and the upcoming series!
